History

Hardy, healthy, and smart, Oldes make excellent family pets. Once indigenous to Great Britain and a national symbol of British steadfastness, the Bulldog was known for his strength, agility and tenacity. He was used by our ancient forefathers in their sports and daily rounds. Yet today the health-plagued modern Bulldog just does not measure up to his capable ancestors. That is why the Olde English Bulldogge was created for the man and family who wants a dogge with size, courage and loyalty.

This is what you find in an MGD Bulldogge. They are truly devoted, with excellent temperaments, a strong companion, loyal and dedicated to its family. Our dogs are bred for health, good structure, soundness, better breathing and free whelping. They are very smart dogs and are children tested.
We are a small family breeder located outside of Houston, TX, recreating what we think the Olde English Bulldogge should be. Once we came across this rare breed it created new excitement for us in an attempt to produce the best dog possible. Our stock came from Sullivan kennels in Mississippi. The Sullivan’s have bred quality Bulldogges for several generations. If you look back at some the great Bulldogges, you will find the Sullivan name.

We may breed a couple of litters per year always striving to produce better than the last. We always place or keep a pup close by for us to extend the MGD line. Our dogs are placed in family pet environments. That is first and foremost. We want our pups to have forever homes.

We always welcome inquiries into our dogs or possibly obtaining one. All our dogs are registered with CKC and the IOEBA. These are not AKC English Bulldogs.
